Dunnet Wright Music is an ethically based recording label on the outskirts of Brighton, in East Sussex, UK. Although Jambience is not officially signed to DWM, without them, we wouldn't have made it past our first summer in England back in 1999 (!!!). All of the material on Jambience: Live was recorded, live by digital maestro Iain Dunnet, who also edited and mixed all of the tracks on DWM's 24 track Soundscape system. Our website is also maintained at DWM, and they (foolishly) host Jambience's UK office-- as well as some of the band's personnel from time to time. In short, we love them. |

Nomad Digital incubated Jambience's first CD, Jambience: Live at the Arts Factory. As with DWM, Nomad boasts a 24 track Soundscape hard disk recording, system, and more bells and whistles than you can poke a didgeridoo at. Like DWM, Nomad provided far more than just a recording facility for the band, and, again, Jambience would never have even come into existence (never mind make it to the UK) without Michael Bates' technical expertise, support, enthusiasm, tea, and vegemite and avocado sandwiches. | nomad@mullum.com.au |

Jambience and the Small World go back a long way. Through Pony, Emma and the ever fabulous Small World Crew, the band have visited countless festivals throughout the UK, big and small. If you are in a band and would like to get on to the UK festival circuit, The Small World is (potentially) your passport! They also make the best brandy coffee this side of Glastonbury! |

| The Hemp Shop is located in the heart of Brighton's funky North Lain, and has been involved with Jambience right from the world "go" in August 1998. They were at our first CD launch concert in Byron Bay, and their raucous and joyful vocal talents are featured during the applause after several tracks on Jambience: Live at the Arts Factory. By sheer cosmic weirdness, both Jambience and THS have now relocated to Brighton (TOTALLY unbeknownst to each other). They still play our stuff, and we wear their stuff. If you have a fashionable and/or environmentally sound bone in your bod, so should you. |

Seeing as this is where it all began for us, we figured that we'd better put up a link now that we're all cyber-spaced up. We've also just found out that they are still playing our first CD on the house PA system. The Arts Factory is Byron Bay's funkiest place to stay. They have everything from Tipis to covered wagons, as well as standard dorm rooms for budget travelers. They've also got luxury honeymoon hide-aways as well. If you're going to Byron, a visit to the Arts Factory is a must. Bookings are advisable. |

| The Dreaming is a dedicated Aboriginal fund-raising CD released through Dunnet Wright Music. The CD features music from some of the world's leading non-indigenous didgeridoo players and composers, along with an outstanding seven minute animated video. All of the profits generated through the sale of The Dreaming is given entirely to The Aboriginal Support and Culture Awareness Trust (TASCA, UK charity reg.#1071572). Jambience's La Coline (as yet un-released) has been licenced exclusively for use on the CD. | Click to Buy | |
| Sun's formation was, like many of those things in life that make you go "hmmmmm.....", an accident. Iain Dunnet and Phil Jackson literally collided with soul frontman Darwin Phillips at a reunion gig in Brighton in December 1999. After a few experimental gigs in January 2000, the band that was to become Sun found themselves booked off of their feet all around East Sussex. Recently, Sun has undergone a few personnel changes and now features Iain, Phil, Brighton guitar aficionado Danny Fox, and a host of guests. Combining funk, soul, reggae, soca, calypso, and ringbang (......really), there is literally nothing like a bit of Sun. To see what all the noise is about, lively up yourself and check them out on their website. Better still, find the gig nearest you and get yourself into a bit of Sun. | Sun
