What makes a didgeridoo? : (hint: If you can’t answer this question,  go back to About  Digeridoos).  If you are keen on getting a didge, but live in a country that doesn’thave both Eucalyptus trees and termites, you’re kind of stuck aren’t you?  Ottawa’s Rob Peltier  manufactures artfully altered PVC pipes which look astonishingly like the real thing!    Also, if you live in the Ottawa area and would like a private lesson, Rob can help you out.  As he taught himself how to play from the stuff being flogged on site, you know he's gotta be good!!  For more information, drop him an email.

To give you an idea of DWM’s standards, this site was built there, and part of Indijination, and all of Jambience Live were recorded in their studio.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  They are also VERY didge friendly.

Charlie was signed by DWM in 1997 initially for the recording of "Tá Muid." She was not an experienced performer, but her voice held a captivating quality which suited the song exceptionally well, and as further recordings were made, her individual vocal style and thought-provoking lyrics combined with the production and songwriting talents of Foxbat, Iain Dunnet and Nigel Glockler to produce a collection of truly evocative and memorable songs.

"Clearly Charlie's debut album Vision is going to attract significant international attention in the coming months."  (Musicaldiscoveries.com November 2000)

Sun's formation was, like many of those things in life that make you go "hmmmmm.....", an accident.   Iain Dunnet and Phil Jackson literally collided with soul frontman Darwin Phillips at a reunion gig in Brighton in December 1999.  After a few experimental gigs in January 2000, the band that was to become Sun found themselves booked off of their feet all around East Sussex.  Recently, Brighton guitar afficionado Danny Fox was added to the mix, and the band plays on-- loudly.  Combining funk, soul, reggae, soca, calypso, and ringbang (......really), there is literally nothing like a bit of Sun.. To see what all the noise is about, lively up yourself and check them out on their website.  Better still, find the gig nearest you and get youself into a bit of Sun.
